Intellectual property
Unauthorised copying, modification, or distribution of the Application, any part of it, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Attempts to extract source code, translate the Application, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights remain the property of Hisham Kherbouch.
Changes to the Application and pricing
We reserve the right to modify the Application or its pricing at any time. Any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you before they apply.
Subscriptions
Mumble offers a free tier with a limit of 3 entries per day. An optional premium subscription ($4.99/month or annual equivalent) unlocks unlimited entries and additional features. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
On-device processing
Mumble performs all speech recognition, AI reflection generation, and mood analysis on your device. These features depend on your device's capabilities and available processing power. Performance may vary by device model and current system load.
Accuracy of AI-generated content
The AI reflections and mood analysis provided by Mumble are generated using on-device keyword extraction and pattern matching. They are intended for personal reflection and journaling purposes only. Reflections may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. Use your own judgment when interpreting AI-generated insights.
Not medical or therapeutic advice
Mumble is a personal journaling tool. It is not a medical device, therapy substitute, or mental health service. The Application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
Your content
You retain all rights to the content you create within Mumble — including journal entries, transcripts, and any other material you input. Since all content is stored exclusively on your device, we do not have access to, control over, or responsibility for your content.
Device responsibility
It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and your access to the Application. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this may compromise security and affect Application functionality.
Limitation of liability
While we strive to keep the Application reliable and accurate, we cannot guarantee that it will always function without interruption or error. We accept no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from your use of or reliance on the Application, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of journal entries, or emotional distress.
Updates and termination
We may update the Application from time to time. Continued use requires acceptance of updates when offered. We reserve the right to cease providing the Application at any time. Upon termination, the rights and licences granted to you under these terms will end and you must cease using and delete the Application from your device.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
